Early access open

AWS cost clarity — without handing over your billing data

Punctiq helps teams understand AWS spend without moving raw billing data into another platform. It works with the cost data already inside your AWS account, using controlled IAM access, so teams get visibility, ownership, budgets, and reports they can actually use and explain.

No sales calls. No instant demo booking. Just early access updates when onboarding opens.

What happens next?
  • You get product updates while Punctiq is being built.
  • You get a first look at the platform before public launch.
  • If there's a good fit, you can be considered for an early pilot.

IAM role assumption Processing stays in your account Ownership mapping Chargeback-ready reports
Processing stays in your account too

The ETL pipeline that structures your cost data runs as Lambda functions inside your AWS boundary. Punctiq deploys the logic — your account runs it.

Ownership, not just charts

Connect every dollar to a team, project, or application — not just a service line on a graph.

Catch changes early

Set budgets and get alerts before cost changes turn into billing surprises.

Reports that need no cleanup

Share clear reports with finance and leadership without rebuilding them in a spreadsheet.

How it works

Your AWS cost data stays in your account — not ours.

Many FinOps tools pull your billing data into their own servers. Punctiq is designed differently. It connects via an IAM role, deploys a processing pipeline inside your AWS account, and runs queries through your own Athena setup. Your raw billing dataset is not copied into Punctiq.

Punctiq stores only what it needs to run the service — your login, settings, ownership labels, and budget thresholds. Not your billing records.

🔐
Access via IAM role — no passwords, no keys Punctiq assumes a cross-account IAM role with the minimum permissions needed. No access keys stored. Revoke it anytime and access ends immediately.
⚙️
Processing runs inside your account, not ours Raw billing records are processed inside your AWS account, not inside Punctiq infrastructure. Punctiq deploys the transformation logic — your account executes it.
🏗️
EU-hosted application infrastructure Punctiq's own servers are hosted in the EU. Your AWS billing source data remains in your AWS account — separate from our infrastructure entirely.

Why Punctiq

You already have AWS Cost Explorer.
Here's what it doesn't do.

AWS Cost Explorer is useful for inspecting costs. The hard part starts when teams need to explain ownership, prepare reports, align finance and engineering, and turn cloud spend into decisions across teams and projects.

📊
AWS Cost Explorer
Breaks down spend by service and account
Savings plan and reservation recommendations
Ownership still depends on your tagging, account structure, and manual reporting model
Chargeback and showback usually require manual exports, joins, and spreadsheet cleanup
Budgeting exists in AWS, but team/project reporting still needs governance and manual setup
Not designed for sharing with finance or leadership
Tagging coverage and ownership gaps are not surfaced as a FinOps workflow
Punctiq
Full cost breakdown by service, account, region, and time
Ownership layer — connect spend to teams, projects, and apps
Chargeback-ready reports without spreadsheet work
Budget alerts per team, project, or cost dimension
Reports built for finance and leadership — shareable out of the box
Tagging governance views to surface coverage gaps
Your raw CUR and billing dataset stays in your AWS account — no raw data ingestion into Punctiq
Setup

No agent. No raw billing export. Connects through AWS-native access.

Punctiq uses standard AWS infrastructure you already have: CUR in S3, Athena, and IAM role assumption. There is no workload agent and no spreadsheet upload.

// step 01

Enable Cost and Usage Reports

Point Punctiq to an existing CUR export in your S3 bucket, or create one. Your raw billing source data remains in your AWS account.

AWS CUR + S3
// step 02

Grant controlled access

Attach a client-scoped cross-account IAM role protected by ExternalId and least-privilege permissions. Punctiq assumes the role — no access keys or long-lived AWS credentials are stored.

// step 03

Queries run through your Athena setup. Dashboards, ownership maps, and reports are generated without ingesting your raw CUR dataset into Punctiq.

Who it's for

Built for teams that run on AWS

Punctiq is designed for organizations where cloud spend is significant enough to need ownership and accountability — but not so large that a dedicated FinOps team is in place yet.

AWS engineering teams

See what's running, what it costs, and how to communicate spend clearly without pulling raw billing data.

Engineering leaders

Get a clear picture of cost by team and project. Spot ownership gaps and budget risks before they escalate.

Finance & operations

Receive reports that are already structured for review — no spreadsheet reconstruction, no raw service names.

Scale-ups on AWS

Build clean tagging and ownership structures now, before your bill grows complex enough to become unmanageable.

Product

Screens built for real FinOps workflows

Every view is designed to help engineering, finance, and leadership work from the same cost picture.

Understand spend

See what changed, where cost is growing, and what deserves a closer look — across accounts, services, and time.
