This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you visit Punctiq, join the early access waitlist, or communicate with us.

Last updated: May 4, 2026
Plain-language summary: Punctiq collects only the information needed to operate the website, manage early access, communicate with interested users, protect the service from abuse, and improve the product experience. We do not sell your personal data.

1. Who we are

Punctiq is a cloud cost visibility and FinOps product built for AWS teams and operated by ITCOMMUNITY SRL. For privacy-related questions, you can contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Waitlist information: your work email address, referral code, referral source, consent timestamp, and related waitlist metadata.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, security logs, approximate location, and basic usage metadata.
  • Communication information: messages you send to us, replies to emails, unsubscribe requests, and support-related correspondence.
  • Email delivery information: technical events related to emails we send, such as whether an email was accepted, delivered, bounced, rejected, marked as spam, or interacted with through links.
  • Product interest information: information you voluntarily provide about your company, cloud environment, FinOps needs, or interest in Punctiq.
  • Website interaction information: page visits, clicks, scrolling behavior, session activity, browser/device details, and similar analytics events used to understand and improve the website experience.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • manage the Punctiq early access waitlist;
  • send relevant product updates, onboarding information, and early access invitations;
  • confirm email delivery, detect bounced or rejected messages, and maintain the reliability of our email communications;
  • prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and unauthorized access;
  • operate, monitor, debug, secure, and improve the website and related services;
  • understand interest in Punctiq and improve the product experience;
  • analyze website usability, including whether visitors can find and use important parts of the site;
  • comply with legal, security, and operational obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Consent: when you join the waitlist, agree to receive communications from us, or allow optional analytics cookies where required.
  • Legitimate interest: to operate, secure, monitor, and improve Punctiq, prevent abuse, maintain email deliverability, and communicate with business users interested in the product.
  • Legal obligation: where processing is required to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, or regulatory obligations.

5. Email communications and delivery tracking

If you join the waitlist, we may send you product updates, early access invitations, onboarding information, and relevant communications related to Punctiq. You can unsubscribe from early access emails using the unsubscribe link included in our messages or by contacting us at [email protected].

We may process technical email delivery data to understand whether our messages were successfully delivered, bounced, rejected, delayed, or marked as spam. This helps us maintain the reliability and security of our email system.

If our emails contain links, we may record whether those links were clicked in order to understand whether the communication was useful, protect against abuse, and improve future communications. We do not rely on email open tracking as a guaranteed indication that a person has read an email.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Punctiq may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for security, session handling, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and website operation.

We may also use optional analytics cookies or similar technologies to understand website usage and improve the experience. Where required by law, we only use non-essential analytics cookies after you have provided consent.

You can refuse or withdraw consent for optional analytics cookies at any time through the cookie preferences available on our website, where such functionality is provided.

7. Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website. Clarity helps us analyze user behavior through features such as session recordings, heatmaps, clicks, scrolling behavior, page interactions, and basic website usage patterns.

This helps us improve the website, identify usability issues, understand whether visitors can use the site effectively, and improve the early access experience.

Microsoft Clarity may collect information such as device type, browser type, approximate location, pages visited, interactions with the page, clicks, scrolling behavior, session activity, and technical identifiers.

In regions where consent is required, Microsoft Clarity is loaded only after you provide consent for optional analytics cookies. If you do not consent, optional analytics cookies and related Clarity functionality may be disabled or limited.

We do not intentionally use Microsoft Clarity to collect sensitive personal information. We configure masking settings to reduce the risk of collecting personal data entered into forms or displayed on the page. However, analytics tools may still process technical and usage information as described in this policy.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These may include HTTPS, access controls, application-level restrictions, rate limiting, logging, bot detection, infrastructure hardening, and restricted administrative access.

No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we treat security as an important part of operating Punctiq.

9. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate the website, send email, host infrastructure, secure the service, prevent abuse, analyze site performance, or manage early access communications.

These providers are expected to process information only as needed to provide their services to us and in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

10. International transfers

Depending on the infrastructure and service providers used, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including waitlist management, product communication, analytics, security, legal compliance, and operational records.

Technical logs, analytics data, and email delivery events may be retained for a limited period to help us operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or suppress your information, unless we need to retain limited data for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.

12. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. In Romania, the supervisory authority is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

13. Children’s privacy

Punctiq is intended for business and professional users. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.
